Staff very helpful and room spacious, pleasant and quiet
The location is perfect- quiet and safe. Greenmarket square is the centre of it all. Walking distance to everything in town. Taxi rank outside and restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the coffee shop is fine. The perfect place to stay at very reasonable cost.
I especially liked the central location of the hotel, just near Green Market which made it easy to access and in a safe environment. The staff was always very friendly and helpful with any problem you might have. I would definitely recommend this place to other travellers.
It was in a good location for the Argus race and also to visit beaches and Table Mountain etc. It was central to most things. The staff went out of the way to help us. The bed was comfortable and for the money I thought it was good value. they provided breakfast early when we were too early and front the desk staff to the restaurant were friendly and helpful.
Convenient to city centre. Near the red and blue tourist bus route bus stop.
The fact that my Barclaycard got cloned in Cape Town, possibly at the Inn on the Square.
The location was superb. It is in a good part of Cape Town, downtown /Central business district. There was long st, Green Market Place, and st. georges mall right near by. The staff was friendly and I booked two extra nights.
The hot water wasn't consistent.
My husband had a pacemaker fitted at Chris Barnard Hospital, so location was fantastic as the hospital is only two blocks away. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well as the staff at the Tudor Cafe. Our room was clean and comfortable and very affordable. We really felt at home, and next time we are in Cape Town, the Tudor Hotel, is where we will be staying.
Pleasant and helpful receptionists Good breakfast quiet room
TV channels not very good Hot water tap in basin not working
It is situated in the area for shopping and front of market place and also walking distance to waterfront and night life was great ....we walked along the main street where all the bars and resturants are situated
Nice staff. Perfect location.
No aircon (despite what was announced at Booked.net), just a very slow fan. Very, very noisy on weekend nights if room is facing Long Street.
Unfortunately I did not sleep well, there is some evil/ghost that was in our room (205) form Friday I did not sleep and the following night it became worse course my friends also experienced it. The hotel is perfect and it is in the perfect location, the batroom is not nice at all maybe you guys need to ronovate that. Parking was so incovenient for us unsless you have a sytem of someone picking cars for the quest and I personally think that would attract quest. The food was off, that is why we did not ahve breakfast sunday morning beside the fact that we did not slep due to the ghost and we just wanted to be out of the hotel as soon as possible.
Old and historical hotel, nice lounge and breakfast
The bathroom, very small, i hated to be in there and i saw little animals (beatles) crawling along the toilet.
Extremely friendly and helpfull staff with great sense on humor!!!! Very good breakfast and great location. Not the most luxorius hotel but had good feeling and is great value of money- we will be back! :)
Location was fantastic and so was breakfast
The bathrooms need attention and smelt a bit strange.
Charming no frills hotel in a historical building right in the heart of Cape Town. Walking distance from the station and MyCity bus station.
